Livio Fenati
Managing Partner, Founder

>Livio was most recently Co-Head of PG Private Infrastructure business in Europe and has almost 30 years’ experience in the asset class.

>At PG he was a member of the global Private Infrastructure Investment Committee, of the valuation committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the firm’s portfolio companies Parmaco, Telepass and Eolo.

>Since founding Vesper Livio was involved in Vesper’s first investment in RAD-x

>He has 30 years of infrastructure industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he was Global Head of M&A at Atlantia and previously was one of the founders of Arcus Infrastructure Partners, an independent fund manager based in London, managing a Eur 2.2bn fund.

>During his 3 years at Atlantia Livio led the successful acquisition of several flagship assets for a total EV in excess of €40bn, like the purchase of the Nice Airport, the majority stake in Eurotunnel and the acquisition of control of Abertis (a €34bn transaction, which remains so far the largest transaction ever done in the infrastructure space).

>He holds a degree in economics from the University of Rome, Italy and a certificate in the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Alfredo Maria De Falco

>Alfredo is a senior leader with 25+ years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking,

>At UniCredit, Alfredo was most recently Head of Client Solutions Italy and Deputy CEO of the global Corporate Investment Banking Division.

>He was responsible for all product factories across all client segments, and coverage of key corporate clients, Institutional Investors and Financial Sponsors. In his Vice-Chairman role at UniCredit International Bank SA, he oversaw the asset management function.

>Previously he has been the CEO of UniCredit Americas based in New York.

>In his capacity he has acted as advisor and underwriter on more than EUR 200bn deals in the Infrastructure and Energy space: from the Alliance Boots $22bn KKR takeover to the more recent Blackstone / Edizione’s take private of Atlantia (largest ever European ‘take private’ deal), and many others in the mid-market space.

>He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Rome, and Executive Program Certificates from Columbia University and Insead. He has been visiting professor at Bocconi University, Milan and at Fordham University, Gabelli Business School, New York.

Paola Rastelli
Partner, Founder

>Paola Rastelli was most recently Head of M&A of SNAM and has over 21 years of infrastructure industry experience.

>She was previously a member of the Board of Directors at: Industrie De Nora; SNAM 4 Environment and at a firm’s portfolio company Iniziative Biometano; an Advisory Board Member of Hy24 – FiveT and Ardian hydrogen fund; and an Advisory Board Member of CDP Venture Capital Energy Tech fund.

>Prior to joining SNAM, she worked at PSP as Director of PSP European Infrastructure Team in London with responsibility for pan-European origination, with a specific focus on energy and utilities.

>Previously she was one of the initial members of Arcus Infrastructure Partners.

>She holds a degree in economics from the University of Parma, Italy and a Master degree  in marketing and logistic, Italy.

>He has most recently been involved in several relevant value add infrastructure exits and acquisitions like: Vesper’s first investment in RAD-x, MSIP’s sale of VTG, the IPO of Salik, Blackrock’s and WSIP’s take-private of Calisen, KKR’s and OTPP’s acquisition of a control stake in Caruna, WSIP’s take-private of Adapteo, 3i infra/GSIP/Ilmarinen acquisition and sale of Elenia.

>Olaf holds a Diplome de Grande Ecole de Gestion and a Diplomkaufmann from ESCP-EAP.

Giacomo Rossi
Partner, Co-Founder

>Giacomo has over 16 years of energy, infrastructure and industrials experience and until 31 Dec 2022, led Snam’s activities in the UK, Ireland, and North Sea. Snam is Europe’s largest gas infrastructure company and leading player in transition gases and infrastructure. During 2022, he closed both the investment into Storegga, a leading independent CCS developer, where he holds Board representation, and the most recent funding round into dCarbonX, a specialised hydrogen storage developer where he retains a Board seat.

>Prior to Snam, Giacomo led strategic M&A opportunities for BP’s EMEA low carbon power and gas trading team (batteries, renewables, geothermal, low carbon power generation); and prior to BP, worked at Carlyle’s flagship international energy platform, Carlyle International Energy Partners, and responsible for deploying c.40% of the $2.5bn fund.

>Before Carlyle, Giacomo spent seven years in energy and industrial teams at Rothschild & Co and Perella Weinberg Partners.

>Giacomo holds a BSc in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics.

Guillermo Royo-Villanova
Partner, Co-Founder

>Guillermo has 10 years of experience in the infrastructure space, having worked in various transportation, energy and telecommunications transactions across the globe throughout his career in principal investing and investment banking.

>In addition to deal execution, Guillermo was also responsible for the asset management for PSP’s investments in Roadis (toll road platform with 10 roads globally) and Cubico Sustainable Investments (Renewable platform in Europe and the Americas with an operating portfolio of over 3GW), where he attended the board of both companies.

>Guillermo was also responsible of the coverage of origination efforts of the Spanish market, having gained significant insights and relationships of the market over the past years. Since joining Vesper Guillermo was involved in Vesper’s first investment in RAD-x

>Before PSP, Guillermo worked at BNPP in the M&A teams, first in Madrid and then in New York..

>Guillermo holds a BSc in Business Management from the University of St. Andrews and an MSc in Finance from University College London.

Martina Zanellato
Investment manager

>Martina is an Investment Manager and was most recently a Manager in the M&A and Special Projects unit in Snam, investing both in energy infrastructure and in companies active in energy transition sectors such as hydrogen, energy efficiency, biofuels and biomethane. As part of the special project’s unit, she coordinated several investments in closed-ended funds dedicated to hydrogen development and innovative startups in energy field.

>Martina has over 8 years of experience acting both as direct investor and as investment banker.

>Prior to joining Snam, Martina worked for four years in an independent corporate finance boutique in Milan specialised in M&A advisory for international private equity firms and Italian SMEs across a wide variety of industries. She also worked at KPMG in the corporate finance team specialized in sale and purchase of credit portfolios for financial institutions.

>Martina holds a Bachelor degree in finance as well as a Master of Science in accounting, financial management and control from Bocconi University, Italy.

Martina is Italian and fluent in English.

Alexis Lagorce
Investment associate

>Alexis is an Investment Associate and was most recently an investment professional at iCON Infrastructure where he focused on executing and overseeing investments across energy transition, transport, telecom, and social infrastructure.

>Furthermore, Alexis was sitting as a board observer at Wind Estate, a Danish onshore wind developer as well as Mercurius Health, a pan-European radiotherapy platform.

>Since joining Vesper Alexis was involved in Vesper’s first investment in RAD-x

>Alexis has over 5 years of experience acting as principal investors, and prior to joining iCON infrastructure, worked at Ardian Infrastructure, a global core + infrastructure fund, and SWEN Capital Partner, a multi-strategy asset manager.

>Alexis holds a Master in Management from Kedge Business School Bordeaux and a Specialized Master in Finance from ESCP Europe.

>Alexis is French and fluent in English.

Nicola Di Nardo
Investment associate

>Nicola is an Investment Associate and was most recently an Investment Professional at White Summit Capital, an investor specialised in deploying capital in decarbonisation initiatives, and has three years of experience working on transactions in the transportation, energy and telecommunications industry, both on the buy-side and as an Investment Banker.

>Furthermore, during his time at White Summit, Nicola was involved in the asset management of Zunder, leading independent EVCI operator in Spain and France, and White River, a renewable energy platform in Mexico.

>Nicola holds an LL.B degree in Law from Royal Holloway, University of London as well as a Masters of Science in Management and a Masters of Science in Finance from IE Business School.

Nicola is Italian, fluent in English and Spanish.

Larissa Schreurs
Finance & Operations Manager

>Larissa is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with over 5 years of experience in the private equity space working in public practice and industry.

>Larissa was most recently a Finance Manager at Capricorn Capital, focusing on the Capricorn Fund Managers Group and acting as their Group Financial Controller.

>Prior to her role at Capricorn Capital, Larissa was a Financial Accountant at CVC Capital Partners in their Group Finance team.

>She started her career as an Audit Associate at PwC Johannesburg, South Africa, within the Banking and Capital Markets division, before transferring to PwC Jersey, Channel Islands. There, she took on a private equity focused audit portfolio, including world-leading private investment firms such as Ardian, as a Senior Associate.

>Larissa holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Accounting Sciences, South Africa. She majored in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Auditing and Taxation and graduated cum laude and as top of her class in her final year.
